Detailed description of Valley Lodge Whispering Oaks Golf Course, CLOSED 2003

Valley Lodge Golf Course first opened for play in 1990. The course was designed by David Sloane.

The course re-opened in 1992 after being washed away by massive flooding. The fairways are well tended and sculpted by moguls, and the river views made it a pleasing day at the course.

Valley Lodge Golf Course closed in 2003.

Valley Lodge Whispering Oaks Golf Course submitted to financial woes and a very nice lady bought it from the bank and turned it into a horse farm. The sand from the traps is now used in the barn and the clubhouse was rented as a residence.
